Adam Cianciarulo injury update

A candid Adam Cianciarulo has revealed he suffered a grade 3 AC separation of his shoulder a few weeks ago in a an early blow to his season but he has confirmed he is back on the bike, back at the supercross track and will race at A1!

The articulate and outgoing American is going into his third year of 450 competition but, despite having a lot of speed, hasn’t managed to win a race in the premier class with injuries and crashes getting the better of him. Now, going into the start of the year with another injury, Cianciarulo will be coming in on the back foot again just like last year with the nerve issue he had in his hand.

“We have this thing in dirt bike racing where we really don’t talk about injuries,” said AC. “I really don’t know if anybody knows why – maybe a masculinity thing! Regardless, I had a crash a few weeks ago and I did hurt my shoulder. Grade three shoulder separation – obviously not ideal. I had a great off-season up until that point the last few weeks I have been dug what I can to stay in shape. Got on the test track today, did some laps, got a little bit of air..It’s feeling good enough. I will be ready to race at A1, obviously circumstances aren’t ideal but that’s life sometimes, looking forward to battling with the boys again.”

But as you can hear below, the Kawasaki star is staying positive and hopeful for his 2022 season:
