Louis Vosters is set to continue leading the Ducati MXGP project for at least the next three seasons after agreeing a deal with the Italian manufacturer to remain at the helm until the end of 2029.
The news was confirmed at the Dutch Grand Prix in Arnhem, where Ducati’s factory MXGP programme continues to build momentum in its second season of racing MXGP.
Vosters has played a key role in establishing the Ducati Desmo450 MX as a genuine contender in the premier class, overseeing the project as the manufacturer continues its push towards the front of the MXGP World Championship.
With his future now secured through the end of the 2029 season, Vosters will have the opportunity to continue developing the project over the coming years as Ducati looks to establish itself as a long-term force in MXGP.
It has already been confirmed that Romain Febvre will join the team for the 2027 season, with the Frenchman signing a two-year deal that will see him remain with Ducati through the 2028 campaign.
Febvre will line up under the Ducati awning alongside Andrea Bonacorsi as the manufacturer prepares for a new-look MXGP effort next season.
With Vosters staying in charge of the project and Febvre already confirmed on a multi-year deal, Ducati is putting the foundations in place for its future in the MXGP World Championship.
The manufacturer will now look to build on its progress and continue its development with a clear long-term plan in place.
