Joe Brookes put in a superb lap to top the first EMX250 group. The Brit was fastest over Mads Fredsoe with rookie, Filippo Mantovani third quickest.
In the second group, it was Francisco Garcia who set the pace in a BUD Kawasaki 1-2 with Jake Cannon second fastest.
Jekabs Kubulins was third fastest on his JK Yamaha two-stroke machine.
