“You can love him or hate him… but you can’t ignore him.” That’s how Stark Future made it official: Vince Friese will join the team for the 2025 World Supercross season.
Everyone saw it coming – except maybe his rivals. Vince Friese will also line up in the World Supercross Championship in 2025, having not missed a single round since the series kicked off in Cardiff, Wales, back in 2022. After finishing third in the premier class that same year, followed by back-to-back fourth places in 2023 and 2024, Friese now aims to take another step forward and light things up again on the WSX stage.
Friese leaves the Motoconcepts Honda squad – who will field Austin Politelli, Ryan Breece, Noah Viney, and Cullin Park this year – for a fresh challenge aboard the Stark Varg. He’ll team up with Jorge Zaragoza, Michael Hicks, and Lance Kobusch, completing the all-electric lineup for Stark Future in 2025.
This season, Friese stepped back from U.S. Supercross, the discipline where he made his debut in 2009—back when the 250 class was still called “Lites.” Racing only two rounds of the 2025 AMA SX season, he instead focused on Arenacross, where he clinched the championship title. Since then, the American rider has kept a low profile… until now. Rumors already suggest he may end up with Bubba Pauli’s ISRT squad for the 2026 AMA Supercross season, potentially switching to green if that deal materializes.
At this stage, all the riders set to compete in the World Supercross Championship have been revealed. Stark Future has confirmed its four-man roster, while Christian Craig has officially signed with Quad Lock Honda. The only piece still missing is the 450cc lineup for Pipes Motorsports Group (PMG – HEP Suzuki). Jason Anderson and Ken Roczen are both expected to return, but official announcements remain pending. Changes could yet come – especially concerning the German’s program.
