Jeffrey Herlings used to be the fastest man on the planet but he has handed that crown to Jett Lawrence with the winningest Grand Prix rider of all time not afraid to say how good Jett Lawerence is, and that he cannot find a weakness in the Austalian genius.

“For me Jett Lawrence is the fastest guy on the planet and he’s the best if it’s supercross or outdoors, whatever he competes he’s just the best guy right now and he’ll smoke us Europeans I’m pretty sure! A lot of people are saying right now maybe Lucas can stay up with Jett Lawrence, my honest opinion, I think he’ll smoke Lucas.

“I like Lucas a lot, but I think Jett Lawrence is on another level compared to us and compared to everyone else. So, yeah just don’t want to lick his ass but just a massive fan and his results don’t lie, I mean when you see his stats they’re pretty incredible for is he 21, 22 years old? So he’s just really good and, like I said, I think in Europe, I mean Lucas is three years younger, he maybe has something for him at some point but right now I think Jett is just the guy.

“When I had to fight Tony I would find a weakness when I would have to fight Tim I would find a weakness when I would have to fight any other guy who could always find a weakness but with Jett I can’t find a weakness I really don’t know it’s not like I said I’m a great fan but still, I like to be honest what’s his weakness? I don’t know.”

I mean things are not going his way either. Is it him mentally? Is it the bike problems he’s facing? There’s 101 scenarios…what people are saying on the internet, I don’t know. I spoke to him every now and then and I mean whatever he tells me is confidential so it’s not for people to know, but still his talent is not gone and it just hurts me seeing him struggle because I know how good he is.”
