Justin Cooper took the holeshot on a slick track after the rain, but Jason Anderson was on the move, passing both Lawrence brothers and then Cooper for the lead! Jett found his flow to get into second, but he had Roczen and then Sexton on his tail as he tried to navigate a clean pass on his nemesis Anderson.
Jett eventually made the pass stick and gradually puller away leaving Roczen to finally find his way by Anderson for second but Anderson held strong in third despite big pressure from Chase Sexton who couldn’t make the pass on the last lap as Anderson clin he’d the podium!
Jett took the win with Roczen second and it’s the German who now takes the red plate heading into Glendale next weekend!
Eli Tomac had a terrible start and caught through to seventh with teammate Webb eighth. This championship is close!

Jett said: “You had to be very patient. Jason was riding really well and I was struggling to find anywhere to gain heaps on him or make a pass. You had to get a little risky in the whoops, it was the only spot I could really find, was very patient, tried not to rush anything and lap by lap hut my marks. My goggles were fogging up with the rain. Super pumped.”
Roczen said on getting the red plate: “It’s an absolute dream for real. I haven’t had a red plate in a long time, especially on Suzuki. It was an insane race, we were in a battle the whole time, it was awesome.”

After their encounter in the heat race that left Beaumerin the deck, Deegan holeshot the main with Beaumer second and he went for Deegan on tje next turn, making contact, but not doing enough to put him down! Deegan ran Beaumer high in the next turn to secure the lead and pulled away from there to take his first win of the year with Beaumer holding Smith off as the rain came pelting down at the end of the main event, Smith then went down on the last lap costing himself the podium and gifting it to Cole Davies to take his first podium in his third supercross race. Jo Shimoda showed grit again to take sixth.
Deegan said: “You pissed off the bull last week. Ju-Ju ran his mouth so it’s time to lock in. You don’t want to piss me off so I will come out swinging. We grinder from morning to the end of the day multiple times and got the bike dialled. It’s just the start, keep talking and I will come out swinging.”
