Haiden Deegan ran down Julien Beaumer in the heat race for their first head to head battle of the season and immediately put the block pass on Beaumer that left the championship leader on the deck – shots fired!
Deegan said: “Reeled in the leader, I think he went down or something… it’s supercross racing. If he runs into me that’s sick. If I’ve got one coming, I’ve got one coming. It doesn’t matter. It’s supercross and we give the crowd an absolute show in that heat race.”

To add insult to injury, Beaumer got docked two places for jumping on a yellow flag!
