The JK Yamaha team are happy to announce the signing of, Nellie Fransson who is already racing with Yamaha Scandinavia. The team want to help her grow, she will do the whole World Championship and maybe some rounds of the Italian championship series.
Fransson will be a new name in the MXGP paddock and taking on the WMX series as she is only 16 years old.
The young Swede will join Isak Gifting under the JK Yamaha rider for the 2025 season.
The team are also expected to run at least one rider in the EMX125 championship.
“Certainly our intentions are to raise a young girl who until now has always been short with the 125cc. She will make the move up to the 250cc next year and will be motivated to grow and learn.
