Race One: Jett Lawrence looked to be cruising out front and on his way to the win until he stalled and let Aaron Plessinger into the lead and his brother Hunter into second! But Jett upped his pace and picked both riders off to still take the win with Hunter second and Plessinger hanging on for third from Justin Cooper with Eli Tomac right there in fifth after a bad start forced him to charge from outside the top ten. Jorge Prado started in the top five, got shuffled back to sixth and ended up 12th, behind Benoit Paturel, a rider he never even saw in MXGP. Worrying times for the talented Spaniard as Paturel proves what a great signing he has been for HEP Suzuki.
Race One:

Race Two: The rain came down hard as moto two got underway as Jett Lawrence got a rare bad start and Eli Tomac got a rare holeshot! Tomac led out front with Hunter Lawrence second but,a s the rain got even heavier, Jett Lawrence worked his way into the top ten and, got himsel crucially into third, at the 20 minute mark, enough to give him the overall win. Then, with seven mintues left, the red flag came out due to a threat of lightening giving Tomac the moto win and Jett Lawrence confirmed as the overall winner by a point from Hunter with Tomac on the box in third.
But things got worse for Jorge Prado who ended up outside the top twenty in the rain. A nightmare day for the world champ who is more than capable of being in the mix at the front but it is not happening so far on the Kawasaki. It is the mystery of the season as things get worse not better for the super talented Spaniard.
