450cc Race One: Jett Lawrence went from third to first in a couple of turns as Sexton crashed while third on lap one trying to keep Jett in sight. It looked like the race was over but no-one told Chase!

Sexton came from sixth to catch Jett from nearly ten seconds back but as Jett upped the pace and Chase looked for the pass, a backmarker refused to get out of Sexton’s way and cost him 1.5 seconds with five minutes left. That gave Lawrence a 3 (ish) second gap but Sexton was still pushing hard and closing in agaim on the last lap but went down leaving to manage it to the flag – but Sexton gave him a run for his money!
450cc Race Two: Chase Sexton took the holeshot and meant business as he held off two pass attempts in the next two corners by Jett Lawrence only for Chase to make a small error and let Jett by a few turns later!
Sexton then gave chase and was right there a few laps in until he went down giving Jett tje win and again extending his unbeaten run to 14 motos, Sexton thinking what might have been on a day he brought his 2022 speed. But Lawrence just can’t do anything wrong right now as Sexton says he is “sick and tired of getting second place.”
