In the opening race, Jett Lawrence got the holeshot and never looked back to take a dominate race win on his Honda. It was his Brother who passed Aaron Plessinger to secure a Lawrence 1-2. Chase Sexton had a bad start and a crash but was able to get back to fourth.

Jett Lawrence took the pressure from Hunter Lawrence for 20 minutes without cracking before Chase Sexton moved to second with ten minutes to go and forced Jett to find even more pace as the duo put 30 seconds on Hunter Lawrence in 10 minutes and 2 laps but once again, Sexton came up just short as Jett makes it 24 – 0 outdoors in 450 AMA outdoors.
Jett said: “Mid race I looked back and Hunter was behind me, two laps later I looked round and it was Chase. I had to keep my head down and push hard. I can finally say I am 24-0 with James Stewart and that.”
