What an opening race! It was on at the front between Romain Febvre and Jorge Prado who took the holeshot and early lead. The pair set a HOT pace with Febvre taking the lead but Prado hounded him the rest of the race and then passed him back but Febvre showed his true grit and determination to pass him back again for a very big win for the French.
Jett Lawrence went down around the first corner and had a lot of work to do but rode fantastic to come up to sixth passing Gajser on the run up to the finish line.
Aaron Plessinger rode great to finish fifth behind Ken Roczen and Jeremy Seewer who made a costly mistake when in third.
In MX2, Tom Vialle was the best rider in eighth with Hunter Lawrence tenth ahead of Kay de Wolf.
