Factory GasGas rider, Simon Längenfelder set the pace in the MX2 free practice session ahead of Kay de Wolf who saved a very fast lap towards the end with Belgian super talent, Lucas Coenen third fastest. America’s RJ Hampshire was fourth ahead of Tom Vialle and MX2 World Champion, Andrea Adamo but there’s only a second between the top six with Kevin Horgmo also not far off in seventh. Hunter Lawrence who is nursing a back injury and stated in the press conference, just needs to get through today was eighth fastest.
GB’s Josh Gilbert was fourteenth fastest with Glenn McCormick in twenty fifth.
