Race One: “No words to describe this moment.” The disbelieving words of Simone Mancini on his first EMX125 race win in a great ride in front of the home crowd! But ride of the race might have been Cole McCullough, who came from outside the top ten to fourth with third in his sights for his best ever EMX125 results – and it came on hard pack with sand usually his specialty!
Race Two: Francesco Bellei took the win this time on a heavily watered track to give Italy another home win and it was Mancini who did enough with a third place to taking the overall win with Bellei second on the podium! A 1-2 for Italy and more great riders coming through!
But it was disaster for N.Ireland’s Cole McCullough who got caught up in a first turn pile-up putting him out for the moto.
