Cooper Webb said he would be doing some testing with his new Red Bull KTM after the Anaheim opener that saw the defending champ take second – but it wasn’t an easy day for Webb at Anaheim, who struggled to find the lap times in practice but came good as the 20 minute main event went on, showing his mental strength and determination yet again.
Webb said after: “Thereâs definitely some work to do. We do our off-season, and for me I was in Florida. So, you get a variety of tracks but nothingâs like racing. That little more intensity, that little more effort, the nerves, the roughness of the track. Weâll get to work and try to improve. I feel like we can improve the bike a good little bit and see where it ends up. Overall, I think itâs a really nice platform to start with. I think our base setting is close enough and weâll try to improve it, but donât go crazy and get yourself lost.â
