Tom Vialle has a huge crash that also wiped out Tim Gajser and caused a red flag! Vialle and a limping Gajser tried to line-up for the restart but were not allowed to use their second machines after both riders original bikes were too damaged after the crash to ride for thevrestsrt causing a costly DNF for both riders.
Vialle said: “Obviously disappointed to not be able to line-up in the second moto. It was a pretty crazy crash and my bike was banged up so I couldn’t do the restart but otherwise, I’m okay. It certainly isn’t how I hoped my weekend would go and it is a shame because I enjoyed being back in France and having the crowd support. Now the goal is to make sure I’m ready for Germany next weekend.”
It was a weekend of unusual mistakes for Vialle who also crashed in race one and had this hige crash in the qualifying race, somehow he is not hurt!
