Vince Friese was the cat among the pigeons in Abu Dhabi and he will no doubt want to make his presence felt again with an outside shout at the WSX title but it is Joey Savatgy who leads the series from Ken Roczen but Friese will be waiting to take advantage of any carnage!
Friese was ominously unrepentant about his racing style said after Abu Dhabi: “I think if you put a bunch of money on the line and give us an Arenacross track, that’s the way it’s going to go, at least for me, that’s how I make a living. I’m not here to ride around and have fun, I’m here to make some money pay the bills.
“We are battling for position, if these guys want to take it easy, they can take it easy, I’m going to race hard.”
