Video: Deegan on his wrist injury

The rumours were never confirmed until this week that Haiden Deegan broke his wrist a few weeks ago, but Haiden has now confirmed this week in the press conference and now today at press day for the 250 East opener that he was indeed injured – and it sounds like he’s still not 100 per cent!

Was this the crash that broke the wrist?

Speaking on press day, Haiden said: “We had a little crash, we are going to have that. This is a man’s sport so we can’t complain about it, it’s better to fight through. David Goggins said he ran 200 miles with no joints in his knee – if my wrist is sore I am just a baby! We are going to push through it, it is all mental. Goals are the same, come out, do our best. It’s the first round, we are going to see where we are at with the new bike, try to get it up on the podium or get a dub.”
