Jeremy van Horebeek had a big crash at Le Touqet and suffered a couple of bad injuries, breaking his sternum and his T3 vertebrae – yet, incredibly, he still finished the race!
Van Horebeek said: “Hi guys, little update from my enduropal le touquet. I guess most of you saw that Lars and i crashed hard with 20 minutes left on the clock and riding in 4th position, with the crash i broke my T3 vertebra and my sternum . With a lot of pain I finished the race in 13th place , at the moment I’m in the hospital in France waiting for my transport to Belgium to get more checkup’s and see how long revalidation will take , thank you to everyone for the support and the messages.”
