After a big crash during free practice in Spain last weekend, Thibault Benistant missed the rest of the weekend after trying to do timed practice.
The French talent will sadly also miss the Swiss GP – a shame as the hard pack and rutty conditions would have suited him.
The plan will be for Benistant to make his return at the fourth round of MXGP in Riola.
The team revealed the news in the following press release:
Thibault Benistant will not take part in the Swiss Grand Prix this weekend, following the crash he suffered at the Spanish Grand Prix.
After undergoing medical evaluations, he has not yet been cleared to return to racing. As a precaution, an additional week of rest has been prescribed to ensure a full recovery before getting back on the bike.
The team remains confident in his return and is focused on coming back stronger for the upcoming rounds.
