Steve Matthes has reported that Eli Tomac may not be back at Yamaha in 2026 if he continues racing as is the rumour.
With Sexton linked to Kawasaki, there could be a space at KTM with Ducati, potentially an option, but with no supercross experience, would Eli want to go there if he is after one more supercross title?
At this stage it isn’t even certain if Ducati will contest the entire 2026 Supercross season.
Silly season has well and truly begun with Jason Anderson linked to Club MX Yamaha and HEP Suzuki….which leaves a potential domino effect of Sexton at Kawasaki and, in turn, Tomac at KTM.
