Tim Gajser is back home on his fantastic home track putting in the laps to get ready for the Swedish GP after solid fourth overall in the Lommel sand with 4-5 scores on Sunday after third in the qualifying race.
“It was a struggle, yesterday and today, admitted Gajser on his Lommel weekend. “Some solid points, obviously I’m aiming for more, but that’s all what I could do today. I was struggling, you know, didn’t have the flow, and on the track like that, like, how was today, tt was not easy to ride. But anyway, that’s how it is. The track was the same for everyone. We were struggling with the setup, and yeah, I didn’t find, let’s say, the right settings. (0:45) But anyway, on a bad day, it’s not too bad to finish fourth.”
And it’s Gajser who still in control of the championship, he still has 24 points over Prado and 38 over Herlings with the Slovenian having a chance to hit back in Sweden on the hard pack in ten days before Arnhem and more sand a week later! These next two rounds could be crucial for the championship.
