Eli Tomac went fastest in Q1 at Oakland but says he needs to put it together in the race this weekend and be more consistent in the whoops than he was last week in Anaheim. Chase Sexton backed up his fastest free practice time to go second from Ferrandis and Stewart, with Roczen fifth.
