SMX – final round shootout!

The new SMX series has been nothing short of successful in 2023 and, with both classes still with title up for grabs and triple points on offer it will be must watch racing this weekend at the iconis LA Colesium, the site of both Greg Albertyn and Sebastian Tortelli’s one and only supercross win of their careers in 97 and 98 respectively.

The drama Jett Lawrence created moving over for Roczen to win Chicago, didn’t go down well with Kenny who can still win this series if he wins tomorrow, Jett finished second and Sexton third. The aforementioned Sexton is the championship leader, and Chase, who got beaten badly in Chicago and didn’t look happy about it, will want to end his Honda career with a title and stop the guy who dominated outdoors from taking his second 450 title in a row!

The 250 class sees Hunter Lawrence, Haiden Deegan and Jo Shimoda going for the title with Shimoda in excellent form recently looking to save Mitch Payton’s season with a title – in his last ride for the team before he goes to Honda.
