Steve Matthes has given his best guesses for who goes where in 2026 – and he thinks Tomac will end up at KTM despite the test he appeared to have with Ducati a couple of weeks ago.
As seems to be almost nailed on now, Sexton is off to Kawasaki which leaves Jason Anderson out of a ride and it looks like he could be joining Justin Barcia at Ducati which would be a very strong team for Ducati’s debut year in the States. But, with their success in MXGP this season, the bike really is proving itself worthy to riders of that calibre.
And, despite Stewart signing with FXR and being linked with Triumph who wear FXR, the PulpMX head honcho thinks Stewart will stay where he is…but Husky could become Gas Gas with the white bikes longer around the AMA paddock.
Matthes tweeted: “If I had to guess for 2026: Sexton to Kawi, Barcia & Anderson to Ducati, ET to KTM, Roczen stays at HEP, Mookie stays Husky.”
“I believe Husky is gone, off road bikes only and the SX/MX teams will be KTM and GG.”
