Rumour: Roan van de Moosdijk secures an MXGP ride in 2024?

One of the riders that ages out of the MX2 World Championship this year is the talented, Roan van de Moosdijk who has had a good MX2 GP career with F&H Kawasaki and Nestaan Husqvarna. The next chapter for van de Moosdijk is to make the move up to the MXGP World Championship.

The talk of the MXGP paddock is that van de Moosdijk will make the move to Wilvo Racing who have also reportedly signed up Glenn Coldenhoff for 2024 (more on that, here). It would be an all Dutch team but a strong team for the MXGP World Championship season.

Even though Wilvo Racing will be losing Factory Yamaha support for the 2024 season it is good news to see the team remain in the paddock. The brand will be confirmed at a later date but talk of the paddock suggests they’ll be running the Factory Fantic setup for the year ahead with Maddii Racing still expected to run Ducati.
