Rumour: Revo Racing returning to the MXGP paddock in 2024?

One British team that has MXGP experience is the Revo Racing team as they’ve previously ran an MX2 World Championship team as well as the EMX250 championships. The team worked with Dylan Walsh and Alvin Ostlund in the 2019 MX2 World Championship before deciding to close their doors.

Despite closing their doors the team couldn’t stay away from the sport as they decided to run a British Championship team in 2021 and since then have focused on the domestic British championships as well as racing the AMA Supercross with Dylan Walsh who recently parted ways with the team.

For the 2024 season, sources have told us the team will return to the MXGP paddock and will run three riders – one MXGP, one MX2 and one EMX250 rider with promising young Brit, Billy Askew expected to make his EMX250 debut later this year before contesting the full series in 2024.

It remains to be seen what manufacturer the Revo team will be with in 2024 and if a change is on the horizon and what riders they’ll sign up to race the World Championships but it will be nice to see another British team in the paddock once again.
