RUMOUR: Lynn Valk to sign with Van Venrooy KTM for the 2025 season?

Lynn Valk was back on a KTM last year after signing a deal with the Schmicker KTM team to focus on the WMX series. It was a solid season for Valk as she finished fourth in WMX but there’s no doubt she wants more as it’s her dream to become World Champion.

For the 2025 season, we understand that Valk is on the move again. We believe that she will be staying with the KTM family but making the move to the Van Venrooy KTM team.

The Van Venrooy team were out of the paddock in 2024 but are making a return to the GP paddock in 2025 which is great news. In the past they’ve mainly focused on the MXGP World Championship but have announced they have new goals for the upcoming season: MX2 GP’s with Cas Valk.

Initially, the team only planned to run one rider under the awning in 2025 but we believe things have now changed and they’ve decided to draft in Lynn Valk as well.

After a year of being on a different team, the Valk’s will be reunited under the same awning again in the form of the Van Venrooy KTM team if the move does go ahead. Being a Dutch based team it would be a good fit for both.

Cas has had a strong pre-season and even won a moto of the International Italian Championship as he prepares for Argentina and his rookie MX2 World Championship season. Lynn has longer to prepare for her season as the opening WMX round takes place at Riola Sardo on the 5th and 6th of April which hosts round four of MXGP.

We’ll bring you the news when it is confirmed via the team.
