The Dirt Store Kawasaki team are having a fantastic season domestically. The MX2 British Championship is going right down to the wire and the team have two riders in the championship fight. Tommy Searle is sat in second only one point off Cas Valk with Joel Rizzi third and only seven points off the championship lead with only one round to go.

Not only that but Tommy Searle clinched the Fastest 40 championship and will also line up at the Motocross des Nations for team GB on a Dirt Store 450cc Kawasaki as he’ll be racing the MXGP class.

We understand that the team will be stepping things up even further for the 2025 season as they are expected to contest the full EMX250 championship with at least one rider. It’s always nice to see British teams step things up and be part of the GP paddock so it would be welcome news. Another British team in the form of Chambers Racing recently announced they’ll also be a regular part of the GP scene in 2025 as well.

The officially supported Kawasaki UK team of course will still be focused on the domestic British Championships as well but it’ll be nice to see them race outside the UK.

The team did contest the EMX250 round at Lommel this year as Joel Rizzi was in action for the team and finished 14-7 in the moto’s but showed good pace. The Brit has used the 2024 season as a reset for his career and the Dirt Store Kawasaki have certainly helped him get to his best level.

It is worth mentioning that Rizzi ages out of the EMX250 series at the end of the season so we’ll have to see who will be under the team’s awning in 2025 to contest the series.

As always we’ll keep you informed as we hear more news.
