Rumour: Arenacross heading to Abu Dhabi in 2025?

The Arenacross series are expected to announce their calendar for the 2025 series soon and we believe that for next year the series won’t all take place in the UK.

Whilst the series is based in the UK we believe that at least one of the rounds (likely to be more) will take place overseas and sources have told us one of the locations on the calendar will be Abu Dhabi.

Organiser, Matt Bates has been toying with the idea of holding rounds outside the UK for a while and it looks like next year will be the year it all comes together as they’ll add International rounds to their calendar which will still include the likes of Belfast and London.

The last two years, the series was an all British Championship series with riders that had only contested a British Championship in the past could contest the event but that had to change this year after a big injury list.

It is expected that for 2025, International riders will be allowed to contest the series from the start yet again – this should of course mean that the talented French riders will be back racing the full series.

The calendar is expected soon and we’ll bring it to you as and when it is available.
