It is still unclear where Chase Sexton will end up in 2027 with some predicting he will stay Kawasaki and others saying he could leave! Jason Weigandt mentioned just before the MXoN that maybe even KTM could take him bike just like they did with Jorge Prado now that Eli Tomac won’t be back in 2027.
Jase McAlpine spoke to RJ Hampshire about joining Ducati but they also spoke about Chase Sexton with RJ saying of Sexton’s options:
“The Tedders already invested a lot and built this team around coop. Yeah, you’re not going to bring someone in there that’s going to affect the relationship or Coops happiness because right now Coops at that point, he’s won three Supercross championships. He’s won it all. He wants to enjoy these last couple of years. Like he can do what he wants, like this dude’s earned it. So he ain’t going to want someone coming in there like disturbing his peace and then you go even say Star. I mean, Deegan says , you’re out. So, not many options.”
