REVO GasGas MXGP plans fall through
After a few years out of the paddock, the REVO team had big plans for the 2024 season. The team signed a two-year deal with GasGas Racing to race the MXGP World Championships with Brian Bogers.
The team have sadly now confirmed that the plans have fallen through, and they have no other choice than to close their doors again.
Mark Mackenzie, the father of Ethan Lane had been appointed co-owner of the team but after the finance failed to materialise two weeks ago, they’ve been left in a very difficult position.
Sam Yates and his father, Mark have been working tirelessly to try and put something together bit it hasn’t been possible with the season not far away.
It leaves Brian Bogers, Billy Askew and Ethan Lane without a ride going into the 2024 season. We believe that young British talent, Askew has signed a deal to race the British Championship and EMX250 series.
Bogers has plenty of experience and will be hoping to remain in the MXGP World Championship paddock but with teams already full going into 2024 it isn’t going to be easy – fingers crossed he can find himself a ride to continue racing at the highest level.
