Alberto Forato won is first MXGP race by passing Jorge Prado and checking out on the field in front of his home crowd t a slick Maggiora to take a memorable moto win! Behind him, Gajser crashed when he had passed Prado for second with his sights on Forato, ending up fouth, as Prado fought tooth and nail to keep Romain Febvre behind him for second with the Frenchman not able to find a way by the stubborn Spaniard who had turned his 12th gate pick into a holeshot.
