Results: MX2 qualifying race Maggiora

Camden McClellan looked to have the race in the big with a great ride pulling away from the rest in the mud at the spectacular Maggiora, until he went down and got stuck on the hill! Laegenfelder had made the pass on Geerts in the backmarkers for second that became first with McClellan’s incident, the South African coming home a desperately disappointing 13th. It was big disappointment for Everts two who got caught in a first turn pile-up with teammate Sacha Coenen, then crashed at lrast once more on his way to 17th as Adamo gained seven points in the championship with a steady fourth place.
