Poor Hunter Lawrence was the first big story of the night after first turn pile-up in heat one ended his chances of a direct transfer and then a terrible start in the LCQ won by Justin Hill, that left Hunter charging through the field like a man possessed in a desperate attempt to qualify for his first 450 supercross only to come up half a wheel short as Cade Clason beat him by an inch to the chequered flag! What a tough debut for the eldest Lawrence and factory Honda.

In the main event Jett Lawrence took the win and controlled the race from the front even if Jason Anderson and Cooper Webb kept him honest. Webb and Anderson got in a battle at the end until Webb went down pretty hard and handed Chase Sexton third.

Dylan Ferrandis had a great ride in fifth behind another strong performance, Aaron Plessinger in fourth.

Surprisingly Jett said his nerves were “through the roof” but he didn’t show it in the main.

Jorge Prado was 13th in his first supercross with Roczen tenth after a first lap crash.

RJ Hampshire took the win in the 250s passing Levi Kitchen and Julien Beamer to run away from the field with Jordon Smith second and Levi Kitchen holding off a charging Jo Shimoda for third, and Max Vohland right there in fifth.
