Jett Lawrence dominated again from start to finish with Cooper Webb 30 seconds back in second and Adam Cianciarulo third. Aaron Plessinger came back to third after going down with Ferrandis on the opening lap but Ty Masterpool had the ride of race, crashing in turn one to catch Aaron Plessinger, even making the pass on the last lap before Plessinger passed him back, he didn’t want to get beaten by a privateer!
Race two was deja vu as Lawrence led from start to finish riding like Stefan Everts out front and cruising to the win with Aaron Plessinger second.
But the big story again was Ty Masterpool who held third until the last lap having passed Webb, Cianciarulo and Ferrandis to get there only for Dylan to take third away from him with a few turns to go! But Masterpool, on only his second 450 race and doing it as a full privateer will surely have the teams in AMA who need a fill in rider knocking on the door and MXGP teams should be taking note too. The kid is very talented and still just 21.
