Racestore KTM have signed up Italian rider, Alessandro Valeri as he’ll ride the rest of the MX2 World Championship for the team. Yago Martinez was with the team this year but we believe he’s parted company with the team and now has an uncertain future ahead of him.
The Racestore KTM team posted the following statement:
The KTM Racing Team Racestore is pleased to announce the new rider who will take to the track in the next races of the MX2 World Championship starting from the Loket race, in the Czech Republic: Alessandro Valeri.
Paolo Mencacci: “We have decided to focus on a young Italian rider who in recent seasons has distinguished himself with good results in the Italian Championship. He is a deserving boy and this experience will help him grow.”
Alessandro Valeri: “I tested the new KTM SX-F 250 and I am very satisfied with both the bike and the work done by the team. I can’t wait to start training together to try and find the right setup for the first race.”
