Race One: As usual, Sacha Coenen was fast out of the gate but had the Husqvarna’s in hot pursuit. Sacha was riding great and led for the first half of the moto as de Wolf huffed and puffed but couldn’t make a pass stick. He then went off the track which allowed Lucas get up to second but a lap later, de Wolf passed him back.

De Wolf then passed Sacha for the lead but Lucas quickly followed him through. It appeared to be on at the front but de Wolf had all the answers and pulled away to take an impressive win – he has all the answers this year!

Sacha stayed on to come home a very impressive third position, a result to finally reflect his speed. Langenfelder was a lonely fourth position on his GasGas.

Oriol Oliver was having a superb ride in fifth before Liam Everts passed him towards the end of the moto. Haarup was dead last from the start but rode really well to come through to seventh.

Adamo had a nightmare after being in the top five but had a couple of crashes to only finish in thirteenth.

Race Two: Conditions were tough for race two after some rain leaving plenty of deceiving bumps and ruts – there were lots of crashes! Things were looking good for Kay de Wolf as he had the early race lead but then all of a sudden crashes galore – he had three crashes in the first ten minutes – his first errors of the season!

At the front, Lucas Coenen also crashed not long after de Wolf did but then charged back up to third – then had another crash when he was all alone in third but he picked it up in the same position.

At the front, Sacha was flying and ended up being home a race win and with it his first MX2 overall win! Langenfelder rode a solid race for second to secure another podium.

De Wolf was able to refocus and got himself back up to ninth – he ended up only losing four points in the MX2 championship chase so it could have been much worse.

It was a Coenen 1-2 on the day with Sacha taking the first MX2 GP overall win of his career!
