Race One: Gyan Doensen ran down holeshot man, Charlie Heyman, to take the win with Heyman taking a smart second with Colmer taking third ahead of Ben Mustoe and Billy Askew. Jamie Keith crashed on the first lap while second but got back to sixth just ahead of Irishman, Glenn McCormick, who had a strong ride.
Tommy Searle did not race after a big crash in practice ended his day early. Hopefully the British icon isn’t too badly injured.
Race Two: The second moto was maybe the best race of any all year long with a five rider battle for the lead! Jamie Keith led until five minutes to go, but, as Askew passed him at the second attempt, Keith hit neutral and Brookes, Rizzi and Doenson all flew by! Keith then crash battling Doensen and that put him out of the running.
Brookes stepped up his pace and put the pass in Askew with a couple of laps to go and just about held unto the win in the final lap with Askew right there on his back wheel, Rizzi right on Askew’s back wheel and Doensen almost gettong Rizzi in an epic moto.
Championship leader Heyman started sixth but finished a subdued ninth.
