Race One: It wasn’t looking much too much was going to happen at the front when Janis Reisulis got himself in the lead. But he then crashed which dropped him down the order, when he picked up he was battling with Noel Zanocz – the pair then came together!
Reisulis came out worse and went off the track, it looked like a shoulder injury so he was sore after that. Meanwhile, Garcia was at the front and dominated – what a ride from the BUD Kawasaki rider.
Nicolai Skovbjerg had another bad start but was riding with a lot of flow and speed around the tough track. The Danish talent even passed Zanocz to finish an impressive second – he just needs to improve his starts.
Cannon rode well to get up to fourth with Van Erp also showing good pace at the end to finish fifth.
A sore Reisulis was able to pass Raino and finish ninth to secure vital championship points.
Race Two: It was Reisulis who got himself into the lead early but at around the halfway mark, Zanocz was able to make a move to go 3-1 to take the overall win on his JM Honda.
It was a disaster first lap for Garcia as a podium looked gone as he had first lap issues but he rode really well to get back to tenth in brutal conditions to still get on the podium with third overall.
Skovbjerg again didn’t get the best of starts but worked his way through the field making a number of quick passes to get into third – second overall and a visit to the podium for the young Dane!
Greutmann rode a strong race for fourth with Owens rounding out the top five.
