It was the dream race debut for Guillem Farres with his new team, Raths Motorsports KTM as he dominated the first ADAC Youngsters Cup race of the year. Camden Mc Lellan didn’t get the best of starts but worked his way up to a solid second ahead of Mike Gwerder who continues to build.
The second moto was a similar story with Mike Gwerder getting the holeshot but Guillem Farres making a move on the first lap to pull away at the front. Mc Lellan didn’t get the best of starts but worked his way into third after some late race pressure behind from Noah Ludwig.
The third moto was a superb race with Max Spies getting into the lead early and opening a big gap at the front. Farres was buried outside the top fifteen but rode a brilliant race and with two laps to go was all over Spies for the race win – he made a move on the last lap to take a clean sweep of wins. Mc Lellan did well to keep Farres in his view to finish a solid third.
