Noah Ludwig got the holeshot in the first race before Marcel Stauffer made a move and briefly led before making some mistakes. Jordi Tixier was the man on the move as he passed both riders to get into the lead and ended up dominating. Adam Sterry had a strong ride for fourth. Max Nagl was buried on lap one outside the top twenty but passed Henry Jacobi for fifth on the last lap – what a ride!

The second race was all about Stauffer. The Austrian quickly got himself into second and then caught Nagl to pressure the German. Stauffer even made a pass but then made a mistake the corner after which allowed Nagl to get back to the front. But there wasn’t much to split the pair before Nagl had issues dropping him back to fourth. Stauffer looked comfortable at the front but then rode tight the past few laps which allowed Tixier to close on his rear wheel but Stauffer held on for a superb race win – unbelievable when you consider he was fighting for his life last November. An incredible race win with limited time on the 450cc.

There ended up being three different race winners as Tom Koch won race there and it was enough to take the overall win on the day!
