Race One: It was Max Spies who was leading on the first lap – not something he’s used to but it’s nice to see him get a good start. Herlings was third before quickly passing Roan van de Moosdijk.

Herlings took his time before passing Spies but when he did he never looked back as he looked great around a very rough track. Marcel Stauffer had a lonely rode to come home in fourth. Meanwhile, Max Nagl had a disaster as he went down around the first corner and was way back. He ended up getting lapped by Herlings but was able to get back up to fourteenth.

Race Two: Nagl was able to stay out of trouble in the second moto and that always makes life easier. He was leading with Herlings around fifth on the first lap. It didn’t take Herlings too long to get into second and he was putting pressure on Nagl but the German was riding well.

Nagl then had a tip over which allowed Herlings to get to the lead. Nagl dropped to fourth but was able to get back to second passing championship rival, van de Moosdijk who ended up third.

Race Three: It was Nagl again with the holeshot as he led and started to pull away from the rest of the pack. Herlings didn’t get the best of starts but made quick moves and once he passed Nagl brought home a dominant performance. It was very good prep as the track was brutal.

Nagl rode strong for second and turned it around after a difficult first race. Talviku was strong in third after van de Moosdijk suffered from a crash which dropped him down to sixth.
