Chase Sexton put in a last lap flyer to edge out Justin Cooper by one tenth of a second to take the fastest lap time and underline the raw speed that Sexton has. Jason Anderson took third with Ken Roczen fourth but he had to abort a couple of his late flying laps with Cooper Webb fifth.

Coty Schock took his 250 Club MX Yamaha and qualified 19th in the 450 class!
In the 250 class, with the whoops smaller than Q1, it cost Anstie his advantage with RJ Hampshire going fastest from Kitchen, Hammaker and Anstie fourth.
