The 450SX second qualifying session was faster than Q1 with Jason Anderson setting the pace to take pole at Glendale to edge out Jett Lawrence and Eli Tomac. Points leader Chase Sexton was eighth after a crash this week, that, according to Steve Matthes, meant Sexton couldn’t even ride on Thursday!
In the 250SX class, it was Jordon Smith who set the pace on his Star Yamaha.
