Justin Cooper put in a hot lap right at the end to take pole at A2. The Star Yamaha rider has showed good speed this year but still hasn’t been able to string good moto’s together but perhaps that could change this weekend. He edged out Chase Sexton and Jason Anderson.
Jett Lawrence was fifth fastest ahead of Roczen and Tomac with Plessinger twelfth fastest in Q2 but fourteenth overall.
In the 250SX class, RJ Hampshire edged out Levi Kitchen for pole position.
