Max Spies went fastest in the first qualifying group of the ADAC MX Masters class with his Dutch team mate, Roan van de Moosdijk second fastest. In group two, Jordi Tixier set the pace ahead of Tom Koch.
In the youngsters cup class, it was Nico Greutmann and Bradley Mesters who topped the groups.
