Max Spies went faster than Max Nagl to top the first qualifying group in the MX Masters class with Haavisto third fastest. Roan van de Moosdijk was sixth fastest on his Kosak KTM debut.
In group two, Jeffrey Herlings put in the fastest lap time over the returning, Brent van Doninck.
In the ADAC MX Youngsters class it was Maxime Grau and Rasmus Pedersen that topped the groups.
