It was Sacha Coenen who took the holeshot and was leading the MX2 qualifying race, the young Belgian was riding great for fifteen minutes before getting caught. Kevin Horgmo made a move for the lead at the closest place for a home GP for the young Norwegian. Liam Everts was closing on Horgmo but couldn’t make a move – it’s a big win for Horgmo in his last year of racing in MX2. Coenen was looking good in fourth before a crash and what looks to be a sore shoulder! Lucas Coenen didn’t start the race as he crashed out of timed practice.
