It was an entertaining MX2 qualifying race a fast and flowing Lombok circuit which has been modified from last week. It was the fast starting Sacha Coenen who got the holeshot and started to pull away at the front.
His twin, Lucas quickly got himself into second and after the first ten minutes started to catch. With three minutes to go he made a move on Sacha and it looked like it would be a Coenen 1-2 but then both had a crash! After Sacha crashed out of the led it allowed Lucas to get back to the front despite his crash and he ended up taking the win.
Sacha was unfortunate and also lost positions to de Wolf and Laengenfelder so ended up fourth. Mikkel Haarup rounded out the top five.
After a bad start Everts was only able to recover to sixth after passing Rick Elzinga.
Andrea Adamo was unlucky to collide with Ferruccio Zanchi on the opening lap and then had another crash so could only finish tenth.
